KBD TRANSPORTATION is a privately held, family-owned Canadian corporation, established in 1994, committed to service, reliability and outstanding service at competitive rates.
KBD TRANSPORTATION is able to ensure top-notch service by providing one-on-one contact between dispatch and customers (no voice-mail here) and by meeting customer pick-up and delivery appointments ON TIME as well as any special and unique handling and dropping requirements.
KBD has expanded over the past 18 years to its present size of 39 trucks and 85 trailers (a combination of vans, flatbeds & containers). Freight is hauled on state-of-the-art, well-maintained trucks and trailers to assure customers of dependable and reliable service:
- 53-foot van trailers are available, all consisting of wooden floors, food-grade walls, air-ride suspension, and high-cube (110" x 102") rear openings for easier loading and unloading.
- 48-foot flatbed trailers are available, both roll-tight and open units.
- B-trains to haul containers are also available.
KBD specializes in dry-van long-haul freight movements between Ontario/Quebec and the USA, concentrating mainly on freight lanes into the:
- Central States
- Southern States
- Eastern seaboard States
- All other states east of the Mississippi.

- CSA-approved by Canada Border Services Agency since Feb 26 2004
- PIP-certified by the Canada Customs & Revenue Agency since Nov 20 2003
- C-TPAT-validated by US Customs & Border Protection since Oct 31 2003
- FAST-approved by the Government of Canada and US Customs & Border Protection since Mar 8 2004
Our Terminal is conveniently located along the 401 corridor between Toronto and Montreal, just minutes from the U.S.A. border.
