Cindy Ault, X137 (shop), X139 (office)

HR / Safety & Compliance Manager / Operations Manager / Maintenance Co-Ordinator

Cindy is  one of the first to arrive to lead the charge each day.  She is a wealth of knowledge and the go-to for all hiring, personnel & group benefit issues.  Cindy oversees all maintenance, safety, security, border & compliance issues and takes over as Operations Manager in Bruce's absence.  Cindy and her husband, Kevin, are grandparents four times over, including twins!

Carol Corry, X108

Office & Accounting Assistant

Carol is a highly versatile team member who has worn many hats during her tenure at KBD.  Carol currently operates as a part-time casual worker from home, using her knowledge and experience to perform administrative and accounting tasks, and steps in to cover Dispatch as needed.  Carol and her husband, Robbie, love spending as much time as possible with their grandson, Lane!

Dispatcher

Angie has settled nicely into her role as a dispatcher, supporting her team of drivers from pickup to delivery.  Angie is the in-house expert when it comes to ACE and ACI border crossing paperwork.  Angie is also an avid CRICUT hobbyist, evident in her handsomely personalized YETI she brings to work!  Angie is a grandmother of two!

Dispatcher & Dispatch Planner /  ELD Specialist 

Meg, who holds a Custom & Border Services diploma from Loyalist College, takes care of all the planning for KBD's drivers  as well as dispatching the regional drivers.  Meg is the resident ELD expert, and regularly assists drivers with their technical needs.  Meg became a homeowner in 2020 and enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her young nephew and her two favourite furries!

Senior Manager

Bruce, a former driver and owner/operator himself, brings with him years of experience and enjoys operating from the trenches.  Bruce can most often by found in Dispatch or in the garage.  A networker at heart, Bruce enjoys social interactions with his team and can always be counted on for a good story or two.  The same could be said for his after-hours passion of fishing!

 Business Advisor

Pam holds an Honours B.Comm. from Queen's University and an M.A. in Leadership Studies from the University of Guelph.  Pam's work days are focused on strategy, finance, and business oversight.  When not at work, Pam enjoys spending time with grandchildren, Willow, Raiden, & Georgie, walking her dogs, baking, sewing and knitting!

Accounts Receivable & Credit Manager

Chantal, who can switch effortlessly between English and French, works Monday and Tuesday full days, as well as Thursday mornings.  Chantal oversees and manages all billings and customer credits, following up with drivers and customers to ensure the operations' efficiency and success. Chantal loves spending time with her husband, Donnie, and their fur-baby, Bailey.

Dispatcher

A transplant from Brampton, Ontario, Stephanie is putting her many years of trucking industry experience to good use.  Stephanie is dispatching a fleet of 15-20 trucks daily, arranging border crossings, and providing the support her drivers need to make their day a success.  Stephanie specializes in van movements.

Kathryn is a student at Seaway District High School and works after school assisting her mom in KBD's Accounting & Admin. department.  Kathryn enjoys hockey, reading, softball, and spending time with her friends.

Accounting, Administration & Finance Manager

Marissa holds an Honours Accounting designation from Algonquin College. For over 20 years now,  Marissa has managed all accounting and finance issues, licensing and authorities, and overseen the office & admin. staff. In her spare time, Marissa manages the books for her farm, avidly attends cross-fit and enjoys spending time with her daughters!

PAT MCLEAN

Pat is a licensed Automotive Technician, a licensed Truck & Coach Technician, a qualified A-Z truck driver, a trained shunt driver, and an experienced driver tester.  During Pat's time off, he enjoys watching NASCAR and spending time with his wife, Kim, and their full house of Westies and Schnauzers.

Cliff is a newly licensed driver with a 14-year background in manufacturing.  Cliff lives in Gatineau with his wife and four children.  He enjoys spending time with his children and plays soccer in an Ottawa league.

Steve is an experienced driver that recently joined the KBD team. He resides locally with his wife and daughter. Steve enjoys camping, hunting with his daughter and spending time with family.

Krystal Bourdages

Krystal returns to KBD after owning and operating her own truck for nearly a year with soon-to-be husband.  Krystal and her fiance made it to nearly every state, except two.  In her spare time, Krystal enjoys spending it with friends and family, while also planning for her upcoming wedding!

John lives in Cardinal with his grandson.  He enjoys golf and DIY projects.  Trucking is a career change for John, who previously worked in manufacturing.  John attained his Commercial driver's license in Feb. 2021, at which time, he joined KBD's mentoring program.

Bill has been driving with KBD for many years and says he enjoys his home time with his wife, who is a dog groomer and part-time farmer.  He is also very proud of his grandson, Jake, who recently completed his Ph.D. studies in Switzerland.

Sergio immigrated to Canada from Chile in 2019.  As a newly licensed driver, Sergio joined our Mentoring Program to polish his skills. When not at work, Sergio enjoys hobbies that have anything to do with engines, attending rock concerts and spending time with his wife, Karen and their daughter, Isabella.

Jason has grown into a great experienced truck driver after completing KBD's Mentoring Program in 2019.  He is easy going and very willing to learn new things.  Jason is a twin, and comes from a family of tradesmen.  He is also a father to three and enjoys being outdoors, working on things, and driving his motorcycle!

Josh McMillan

Josh is a newly licensed driver training with Driver Mentor, Rick Broadbent.  Before becoming an A-Z driver, Josh drove a straight truck for a local truck centre and prior to that, he was an auto detailer.  Josh was born and raised in Gananoque, Ontario and currently lives in Gatineau with his wife.  He enjoys spending weekends with his son.

ANDRE MICHAUD

Trucking is a second career for Andre. Prior to trucking he was in corporate finance for 20 years! Andre enjoys his time outdoors riding his ATV, and spending time with his 7 children and 3 dogs. Andre graduated KBD's Driver Mentoring Program under the mentorship of his Uncle Aurel.

Aside from trucking, Aurel is also a very skilled carpenter. In his spare time he is often helping friends with renos and odd jobs. He decided to join the trucking industry when he was just 65.  Aurel, who can be quite entertaining, is often trying to outwit his twin, Michael!

Prior to truck driving Michael was a supervisor at Marine Engines in Nova Scotia. He was 64 when he decided on a career change and obtained his A-Z licence.  Michael enjoys carpentry and reading, and competing with his twin, Aurel!

Aaron is one of our longest serving employees with 15 years of driving for KBD under his belt. Don't let his quiet manner fool you though.  He is super friendly, always a smile on his face and a great sense of humour.  Aaron is dependable and a hard worker who never goes home until the work is done.

RANDY STUART

Randy takes great pride in being a truck driver and his truck.  Prior to driving, Randy was a camera operator, producer, and character on the Canadian hunting and cooking show "Heeb 'n Rob."  These days, in his spare time, Randy promotes events with Backstage Pass Promotions, often working with big names in the music industry for festivals or bringing in WWE wrestling legends to smaller cities.

NICK THOMAS

Nick graduated from our Driver Mentoring program in 2019.  He likes life on the road, and says that he feels like he is camping every night. He enjoys being outdoors canoeing, kayaking and having bonfires. Nick also enjoys participating in demolition derbies!

Stephen Watters

Stephen decided that retirement, after 27 years in the military, was not for him.  He spent a few years travelling with his wife, Julie, before pursuing his AZ / Heavy Equipment license.  In his free time, Stephen enjoys camping, boating, and mastering his smoker BBQ.  He has a young granddaughter, Emma.

Darren worked for KBD as a Company driver back in 2017 and has now returned as an Owner Operator! During his time off the road, Darren enjoys playing golf and baseball. However, more than anything, he enjoys spending time with his daughter Zoey.

Brian Brown

Brian is a returning long time Owner/Operator. Brian and his family live in Camden East, Ontario, just north of Kingston.  Brian enjoys working with new drivers and helping new Owner Operators to succeed. When not driving on the road or working on his Youtube channel 'Wheelburner Express', he can usually be found at home with his wife and dogs relaxing. Welcome back Brian!

Laurie McFarland

Laurie and her partner, Al, own and operate two trucks under their "Leather and Lace" logo.  Laurie also enjoys a partnership with her son, raising 150 beef cattle.  Laurie shares her home in Spencerville with two adult children and when she's not trucking, enjoys cooking!

Chris is the father of three girls and one boy, who we hope will join the KBD driving team one day. Chris and his wife, Amber, are very proud supporters of the annual Trucking-for-a-Cure, both going above and beyond to represent KBD.

Dean is a retired truck driver who now works part-time at KBD, helping out when there is an over-abundance of regional loads that need to be delivered on time.  Dean has been trucking his whole life and was previously an Owner/Operator.  In his time off, Dean enjoys watching NASCAR and spending time with his wife, Judy, and their dog.

Andrew was once a KBD long-distance driver, but recently chose to go regional. He is a step-father to fellow driver team member, Jordan Ferguson, and enjoys watching his grandchildren play hockey.

Al has a green thumb and enjoys spending time in his garden. He once was an electrician in Great Britain, then a truck driver in Ireland, before relocating to the local area in Canada.  Al is a "moggie" lover and really enjoys his home time.
