Cindy Ault, X139

HR / Safety & Compliance Manager / Operations Manager

Cindy is  one of the first to arrive to lead the charge each day.  She is a wealth of knowledge and the go-to for all hiring, personnel & group benefit issues.  Cindy  also oversees all maintenance, safety, security, border & compliance issues and shares the Operations Manager role with Bruce.  Cindy and her husband, Kevin, are grandparents four times over, including twins!

Office & Accounting Assistant

Carol is a highly versatile team member who has worn many hats during her tenure at KBD.  Carol currently operates as a part-time casual worker from home, using her knowledge and experience to help with administrative and accounting tasks as needed.  Carol and her husband, Robbie, love spending as much time as possible with their grandson, Lane!

Angie has settled nicely into her role as a dispatcher, supporting her team of drivers from pickup to delivery.  Angie is the in-house expert when it comes to ACE and ACI border crossing paperwork.  Angie is also an avid CRICUT hobbyist, evident in her handsomely personalized YETI she brings to work!  Angie is also a grandmother of two!

Kait, originally hired as a co-op student, recently completed a degree in Business Administration from Nippissing University.  Kait is the go-to contact for all payroll & accounts payable questions but can also be found working the Maintenance desk in a pinch.  Kait has recently become a homeowner!

Meg, who holds a Custom & Border Services diploma from Loyalist College, dispatches regional drivers, is the resident ELD expert, and regularly assists drivers with their technical needs.  Meg also became a homeowner in 2020!

Bruce, a former driver and O/O himself, brings with him years of experience and enjoys operating from the trenches.  Bruce can most often by found in Dispatch or in the garage.  A networker at heart, Bruce enjoys social interactions with his team and can always be counted on for a good story or two.  The same could be said for his after-hours passion of fishing!

Chantal, who can switch effortlessly between English and French, works Monday and Tuesday full days, as well as Thursday mornings.  Chantal oversees and manages all billings and customer credits, following up with drivers and customers to ensure the operations' efficiency and success. Chantal loves spending time with her husband, Donnie, and their fur-baby, Bailey.

Steacy, an experienced Dispatcher & Planner, focuses her days on keeping the trucks moving by liaising with direct customers and load brokers, procuring inbound & oubound freight, and negotiating rates.  Steacy enjoyed a milestone birthday in 2020 and also became a proud grandmother to grandson, Brooks!

A transplant from Brampton, Ontario, Stephanie is putting her many years of trucking industry experience to good use.  Stephanie is dispatching and planning a fleet of 15-20 trucks daily, arranging border crossings, and providing the support her drivers need to make their day a success.  Stephanie specializes in van movements.

Marissa holds an Honours Accounting designation from Algonquin College. At KBD, Marissa manages accounting and finance issues, licensing and authorities, and oversees all office & admin. staff. In her spare time, Marissa manages the books for her farm, avidly attends cross-fit and spends time with her daughters!

Wes, a recently licensed Truck & Coach Technician, began his career with KBD as a high-school co-op student.  Wes can always be counted on, day or night, weekday or weekend, to be available to keep KBD's trucks rolling.  In his spare time, Wes enjoys fishing and hunting, and accumulating flying hours, en route to becoming a pilot.

Riley is a recently-licensed Truck & Coach Technician.  Riley is an easy-going, hard-working, and always dependable mechanic.  Riley is a valuable member of KBD, partly because he is so pleasant to work with but also because he can be counted on to do whatever needs to be done, no questions asked.  Riley enjoys hunting and fishing, and spending time with his girlfriend.

Toby Mullin

Toby, who is a fully-licensed Truck & Coach Technician, takes pride in overseeing the Garage team to ensure that KBD's fleet of equipment runs smoothly, safely and efficiently on the road.  Toby is also the business owner of Mullin Diesel, managing the diesel needs of small business equipment fleets during evenings and weekends.  Toby is an avid runner and enjoys boating when he can find free time.

Pat is a former full-time KBD employee who has enormous versatility.  Pat is a licensed Automotive Technician, a licensed Truck & Coach Technician, a qualified A-Z truck driver, a trained shunt driver, and an experienced driver tester.  During Pat's time off, he also enjoys watching NASCAR and spending time with his wife, Kim, and their family of Westies and Schnauzers.

KRYSTAL BOURDAGES

After years of listening to her dad suggest she become a truck driver, Krystal finally accepted the challenge and joined KBD.  Krystal truly enjoys the freedom of driving. When at home, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and friends, as well as driving her new black Mustang!

Rick is one of KBD's Driver Mentors, teaching our newly licensed hires the ropes. Rick and his wife, Liz, are a fun couple who enjoy cooking and spending time with family, especially their precious grandchildren!

Zachary has been a commercial driver for 5 years teaming with his dad. Zach recently bought a new truck and will be moving to our Owner Operator division when his truck is ready in June! He loves being outside camping, boating, playing guitars and hanging out with friends.

Derrald is a recent graduate of the KBD Mentoring Program. Derrald grew up on the East Coast in Nova Scotia. He served 25 years in the army as an Ammunition Technical Officer. He now lives in Ottawa with his wife, Donna and their 2 children.

John joined KBD's Driving Mentorship program amidst a career change. He was previously in the manufacturing  industry. John is a native of Napanee, but has lived in the local area for the last 10 years with his wife and 2 daughters. John enjoys woodworking and playing the piano.

Bill has been driving with KBD for many years and says he enjoys his home time with his wife, who is a dog groomer and part-time farmer.  He is also very proud of his grandson, Jake, who is pursuing his Ph.D. in Switzerland.

Sergio immigrated to Canada from Chile in 2019.  As a newly licensed driver, Sergio joined our Mentoring Program to polish his skills. When not at work, Sergio enjoys hobbies that have anything to do with engines, attending rock concerts and spending time with his wife, Karen and their daughter, Isabella.

Jason is well on his way to becoming an experienced truck driver after completing KBD's Mentoring Program in 2019.  He is easy going and very willing to learn new things.  Jason is a twin, and comes from a family of tradesmen.  He is also a father to three and enjoys being outdoors, working on things, and driving his motorcycle!

 Jordan is both a distance and a regional driver who never says no to the last load of the day!  Jordan is a family man with 2 kids and likes to spend his free time coaching hockey.  He is always the first to step up and offer to do something extra.

Shawn is a long-distance driver and Driver Mentor.  Shawn enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, playing baseball, and camping with his family.  Shawn is involved in community events and before COVID-19, could be seen representing KBD at local parades.

Trucking is a second career for Andre. Prior to trucking he was in corporate finance for 20 years! Andre enjoys his time outdoors riding his ATV, and spending time with his 7 children and 3 dogs. Andre recently graduated KBD's Driver Mentoring Program under the mentorship of his Uncle Aurel.

AUREL PANCIUK

Aside from trucking, Aurel is also a very skilled carpenter. In his spare time he is often helping friends with renos and odd jobs. He decided to join the trucking industry when he was just 65.  Aurel, who can be quite entertaining, is often trying to outwit his twin, Michael!

Prior to truck driving Michael was a supervisor at Marine Engines in Nova Scotia. He was 64 when he decided on a career change and obtained his A-Z licence.  Michael enjoys carpentry and reading, and competing with his twin, Aurel!

Chris, a second-generation KBD driver, son of Harold Pyper, completed our Driver Mentoring program with mentor Chris Sands. Chris enjoys being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his young family.

Darla joined KBD with array of trucking experience, having trucked the ice roads in Northern Canada and Fort Chipewyan, AB.  Darla is a native of Nova Scotia and enjoys spending her spare time gardening and using her skills in floral design.  She has two fur-babies at home!

Aaron is one of our longest serving employees with 15 years of driving for KBD under his belt. Don't let his quiet manner fool you though.  He is super friendly, always a smile on his face and a great sense of humour.  Aaron is dependable and a hard worker who never goes home until the work is done.

Stuart Slater recently completed KBD's Mentoring program and is off in his own truck. He is a native of Kingston and has background knowledge in finance, supply chain, IT mining, and he was also in the Navy for 4 years. Stuart enjoys hunting, fishing, and doing home renos.

RANDY STUART

Randy takes great pride in being a truck driver and his truck.  Prior to driving, Randy was a camera operator, producer, and character on the Canadian hunting and cooking show "Heeb 'n Rob."  These days, in his spare time, Randy promotes events with Backstage Pass Promotions, often working with big names in the music industry for festivals or bringing in WWE wrestling legends to smaller cities.

Nick, a graduate of our Driver Mentoring program in 2019, is well on his way to becoming a great driver. He likes life on the road, and says that he feels like he is camping every night. He enjoys being outdoors canoeing, kayaking and having bonfires. Nick also enjoys participating in demolition derbies!

Winston, a part-time pastor, enjoys reading, relaxing, and helping churches with charity work. He is a great planner and ensures the job is done well. Winston often brings fresh cut flowers to the office that have been grown by his wife.

Todd is an experienced driver who joined the KBD team this September 2020.  Before arriving at KBD's door, Todd had driven throughout the U.S. and when dispatched to deliver a load to Rhode Island, was able to shorten his list of states he hadn't been to to just five!

Aaron, a native of South Mountain, Ontario, originally worked for KBD in 2003 when he was a newly licensed driver.  We're thrilled that Aaron has returned to KBD as an Owner/Operator.  In addition to looking after his newly-purchased truck, Aaron enjoys spending time with his 2 boys, snowmobiling and four-wheeling.

Dean is a retired truck driver who now works part-time at KBD, helping out when there is an over-abundance of regional loads that need to be delivered on time.  Dean has been trucking his whole life and was previously an Owner/Operator.  In his time off, Dean enjoys watching NASCAR and spending time with his wife, Judy, and their dog.

Danny is a full-time Ingredion employee who we're thankful finds the time to work for KBD as a casual truck driver.  Danny is an avid camper and has recently returned to his speed-boating roots.  Danny is happily married, a father, and grandfather.  During the summer months, Danny can often be seen arriving and departing from KBD on his Harley.

Tyler is the business owner of TDM Construction. He helps KBD out when we need local loads picked up or delivered in a pinch. He enjoys spending his downtime skiing, boating and spending time with his daughter, Willow.
