Marissa Swerdfeger  X106 

Accounting, Administration & Finance Manager

Marissa holds an Honours Accounting designation from Algonquin College. For over 20 years now,  Marissa has managed all accounting and finance issues, licensing and authorities, and oversees the office & admin. staff. In her spare time, Marissa manages the books for her farm, avidly attends cross-fit and enjoys spending time with her daughters!

Cindy Ault - working remotely 613-340-1241

HR / Safety & Compliance Manager / Maintenance Co-Ordinator

Cindy is  a long-term employee who works remotely in the HR & Recruitment/Safety and Security role. She enjoys talking with the drivers and has formed many friendships with them over the years. One of her greatest joys is cooking and baking and spoiling her 4 grandchildren. They are her biggest fans - they are the only ones who scream her name when she walks in the room!

Chantal OuElLette

Accounts Receivable & Credit Manager

Chantal, who can switch effortlessly between English and French, works remotely Monday and Tuesday full days, as well as Thursday mornings.  Chantal oversees and manages all billings and customer credits, following up with drivers and customers to ensure the operations' efficiency and success. Chantal loves being outdoors and spending time her husband, Donnie.

ANGIE FAHRNGRUBER, X110

Accounting & Analyst Assistant

Angie started out as a dispatcher and is currently assisting with payroll, accounting, and analysis. She continues to step into the dispatching role as needed.  Angie is the in-house expert when it comes to ACE and ACI border crossing paperwork.  She enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren and, if spare time allows, doing CRICUT projects as a hobby.

MEGHAN LAMING, X139

Dispatch Operations Manager

Meg, who holds a Custom & Border Services diploma from Loyalist College, takes care of all the planning for KBD's drivers  as well as securing loads.  Meg is the resident ELD expert, and regularly assists drivers with their technical needs.  When Meg is not working, she can be found in the workshop, on the ball field or spending time with her family, which includes her young nephew and her two favourite furries!

Kathryn Swerdfeger

Student

Kathryn works part-time assisting her mom in KBD's Accounting and Admin department. She will be attending Queen's University, and will be majoring in Kinesiology. Kathryn is very active in hockey, softball and track. Like most young people, she also enjoys spending time with her friends!

ADispatcher

A transplant from Brampton, Ontario, Stephanie is putting her many years of trucking industry experience to good use.  Stephanie is dispatching a fleet of 10-15 trucks daily, arranging border crossings, and providing the support her drivers need to make their day a success.  Stephanie specializes in van movements.

Mike Campbell

Mike is not a new face at KBD, but a very welcomed one!
Aside from enjoying time with his wife Amie and his daughter, he also spends time writing songs and is a very talented singer and guitarist. 
He's a trucker and a gentleman, who embodies all of the best qualities of this great profession.

bill duncan

Bill has been driving with KBD for many
years. He enjoys his home time
with his wife, who is a dog groomer. They are
part-time farmers, with a true love for animals.  Bill is known by his Dispatch team for being a great communicator.

Steve Watters

Steve decided that retirement, after 27 years in the military, was not for him.  He spent a few years travelling with his wife, Julie, before pursuing his AZ / Heavy Equipment license.  Steve and Julie are relishing in the grandparent role, spending as much time as possible with the little ones. 
​

ANDRE MICHAUD

Trucking is a second career for Andre. Prior to trucking he was in corporate finance for 20 years! Andre enjoys his spare time riding his ATV and spending time with his family, which includes his puppy partner in crime, Zeus. 

AUREL PANCIUK

Aside from trucking, Aurel is also a very skilled carpenter. In his spare time he is often helping friends with renos and odd jobs. He decided to join the trucking industry when he was just 65.  Aurel, who can be quite entertaining, is often trying to outwit his twin, Michael!

MICHAEL PANCIUK

Prior to truck driving Michael was a supervisor at Marine Engines in Nova Scotia. He was 64 when he decided on a career change and obtained his A-Z licence.  Michael enjoys carpentry and reading, and competing with his twin, Aurel!

AARON REESOr

​Aaron is one of our longest serving
employees with 18 years of driving
for KBD under his belt. Don't let his
quiet manner fool you though.  He is
super friendly, always a smile on his
face and a great sense of humour. 
Aaron is dependable and a hard worker
who never goes home until the work is
​done. 

RANDY STUART

Randy takes great pride in being a truck
driver and his truck.  Prior to driving,
Randy was a camera operator, producer,
and character on the Canadian hunting
and cooking show "Heeb 'n Rob."  These
days, in his spare time, Randy promotes
events with Backstage Pass Promotions,
​often working with big names in the music industry for festivals or bringing in WWE wrestling legends to smaller cities.

David Simpson

David joined the KBD team in December of 2022.  He enjoys spending time with his family as well as being outdoors, hunting and fishing. A hunter always exhibits a certain alertness, a perfect characteristic for a truck driver! ​

CLIFF Bazin

Cliff is a newly licensed driver with
a 14-year background in manufacturing.  He worked with KBD for a short time as a Company driver and not long after became an Owner Operator. Cliff lives in Gatineau with his wife and four children.  He enjoys spending time with ​his children and plays soccer in an Ottawa league.

Brian Brown

Brian is a member of the OVER 5 YEARS club at KBD. Brian enjoys working with new drivers and helping new Owner Operators to succeed.
​When not on the road, Brian enjoys managing his Youtube channel 'Wheelburner Express'.

john poole

John has been with KBD for thirteen years, but has been a part of the trucking industry his whole life. He is very involved in racing at the Brockville speedway and supports his grandson at races. ​

jeremy collins

This guy likes to drive the open road in his Volvo, listening to some Conway or maybe some Johnny Cash. Jeremy works hard, but when the work is done, he enjoys spending time at home with his family.  
Drivers like Jeremy are as vital to us as the freight we haul.

Susan Covey

Susan has been an Owner Operator since 2007. She enjoys spending time with her dogs, who also enjoy trucking! When Susan is not on the road she collects and shows old cars and spends time with her boyfriend Glen.

Laurie McFarland

Laurie and her partner, Al, own and operate two trucks under their "Leather and Lace" logo.  Laurie also enjoys a partnership with her son, raising 150 beef cattle.  Laurie shares her home in Spencerville with two adult children and when she's not trucking, enjoys cooking! 
​

Allan McMillan

Allan or "Robert Allan", hails from Pakenham, ON. He represents the "Leather" in a partnership with Laurie McFarland in "Leather and Lace". When he is not trucking, Al enjoys hunting and fishing. Al likes to keep rolling and we sure respect his hustle!

Andrew Hill

Andrew was once a KBD long-distance driver, but has chose to go regional. Andrew is a great asset to our regional division as he is able to haul flatbeds as well as vans. In his spare time he enjoys watching his grandchildren play hockey.

harold pyper

Harold, as the longest-standing driver, has spent 24 years on the road driving for KBD.  He loves to camp and spend time with his wife, children, and granddaughter.  Harold, a kind soul, also loves to spoil the admin. staff with treats.

Alex Jutras

Alex has a career in a truck seat as a shunter, however, he finds the best seat is in his own house, spending time with his wife and children! He loves being a Dad! His secondary interest is that of drumming with the Smith Falls Pipe Band; taking on the additional role as Drum Instructor! Alex is always willing to help out, filling in for his fellow employees when they need a break away - he is a very dedicated, company oriented employee.

Mike is in our Top 3 for longest years of service with KBD. 
He is a committed and valued employee but is also very active after-hours as a long standing volunteer firefighter with the South Dundas Township Fire & Emergency Services. Mike is a devoted grandfather to Corbyn and Theo and his face lights right up when he talks about them! You know what they say? ...
The best parents get promoted to grandparents! 

Mike Marshall

Mike is an easterner, born and raised in St. John, New Brunswick. 
When he is not working, he spends ​his time with is wife Laurel and their German Shepherds, Teego & Ruby. 
Mike is a real sports enthusiast,  but  another great passion is grilling and smoking.

Vern janes

 Vern is a casual driver who has many years of experience behind the wheel and is now semi-retired. He will help fill in on those days where we are short handed. Vern and his wife, Sara live in Iroquois and enjoy winters in Florida and camping on his time off.
